■ 長岡市乙吉町の泥だしボランティア。 　　[ NO. 2013080401-1 ]
朝食の準備と、私の震災ボランティアで長岡市乙吉町へ行くのに、お昼の準備をしていて、８０歳両親の畑で収穫されたキュウリがこの様に♪

一本、曲がっているのがあったんです。
他は真っ直ぐ。
真ん中から半分に切ったら、「し」の字が！
でも２対なので、「「し」だけじゃつまらないなぁ」と思ったその瞬間、「ヒゲ！」。
そしたら、「キュウリの王様！」の出来上がりです！

旬の食材はその時期に身体に大事な作用を持っているのですよね。
キュウリは暑くほてった体を冷やす作用があり、ボランティア活動には欠かせません。

それで切っていたら、こういうことになったという訳なのです。

９時から説明を受ける為に向かった、長岡市防災センター。
駐車場が満車状態。
関東方面からもお越し下さった方がいらっしゃいました。

受付をして、説明を受けてマイクロバスに便乗して現地へ向かいました。

地区はわかるにせよ、あの状態が何処で起こっているのか判らなかった私です。
行ってみて、「こういう所があったんだ」と、普段では入らない所でした。
TV報道でも、数日前からの家財道具だしや泥出しを観ていたので、状況の見当はついたにせよ、でも、凄まじかったです。

一日、床下の泥出しだけだったのですが、まだまだ、終わったという状態ではありませんでした。
１５cm〜２０cm程の粘土質の泥が一面に積もっている状態でした。

人力の力がいかに凄いか！
終わらないのしても、敷き詰められた泥は綺麗に掘り出す事が出来ました。
重労働。
３０分に土のう袋が１５袋って所だったでしょうか。
×８セクション（１日）＝１２０袋　・・・かなぁ？　でも、そうかも知れない。
スコップ隊は、その土のう袋に２〜３回泥を入れますので、かなりの労働力となります。

人が多ければ多いほど、はかどる仕事です。

でも、一階にはまだまだ住めそうにありません。
住民の方が一番大変です。
私など行って帰ってくれば済むのですから。

休憩時、自分の足元を。
こんなの序の口の泥です。
足が泥の中に埋まってしまうと言う床下の積もった泥でした。




夕方終わって、マイクロバスで送って貰い、長岡市消防署前で足元をもう一度洗い流し、うがい薬を貰って解散なのですが、消防署のこ〜んな車！
滅多にお目に掛れないので、というか、魚沼市には無いです！
カシャカシャと写真を撮って参りました。

消防署のみなさまの力のお世話になっております。

上記２車、どういう時に活躍する消防車なのか、わかりません。
良く見てくるのだった。

親子連れが居ました。
体験出来るのでしょうね。




帰宅して、寿和温泉で顔と体と頭を洗ってから、昨日の水泳の復習を行いました。
でも、耳の悪い私、泳ぐ時には耳栓が欠かせないにも関わらず、忘れてしまい、オヨヨ・・・。
大した泳ぎは出来ませんでしたが、「こういう動きなのかな？」と、感じることがあり、また、明日以降が楽しみであります。

そして、再度温泉に入ったら、合宿でこの地区に着ている子供達で、温泉場がイモ洗い状態でした・・・。
こりゃ参ったッス。
１７時３０分〜１８時迄の温泉は遠慮しておいた方が無難の様です。
プールも１７時迄は超混みの様だし・・・。

夏休みは子供に占領される寿和温泉です。
